I am thinking changing my hair color to a purplish color. I found a new twist cream ,now my hair is softer, smells great. Rocking my two strand twists and they are very juicy.

When summer started I wanted to get a haircut, but I changed my mind. I want to grow out my hair color before I cut my hair. This winter my plan is to have the right products to maintain moisture and bouncy curls. Keeping a collage of pictures of my progress is a great idea, I have seen how my hair grows is out not in length. Being natural is truly a learning experience.

When the summer started I wanted to cut my hair real short. I have changed my mind, I want to grow out the colors I have in my hair. I am learning how to do the flat twists and the wash n go style. I am deep conditioning each week with my DIY items. Extra virgin oil, egg, mayonnaise.

Two year Anniversary

I have reached my two year anniversary.
It was a good journey ,I tried different products, different hair styles.
I like to do the two strand twists.
To be in a natural hair group really does help you are able to ask questions, get advice, encouragement too.

I am looking forward to my third year  being natural.

I am on the fence to try Henna to color my hair. I have been coloring my hair since I had a relaxer . I want healthy hair. I want to try new hair styles like the wash n go, flat twists. DIY hair care products I will use from now on too.

I am enjoying my natural hair journey, it was the best decision I made for myself in regards to my hair. I am down to using a few products now, the Suave shampoo and conditioner, the Shea Moisture Enhancing Smoothing Cream , the V05 conditioner. I cut my own hair for right now to get rid of the dead hair at the ends. I have to maintain a deep conditioner treatment weekly because I have color in my hair. I am going to use more DIY techniques for my deep conditioning treatments and hot oil treatments for my hair. 6/6/2016 I will be celebrating my two year hair anniversary.

My Natural Hair Journey

I am coming upon my two year anniversay this June after cutting off my perm ends off. This experience has been great , I love my curls and the various hair styles I have tried so far. I am still coloring my hair, this time I have two colors in my hair two shades of red. I haven't cut my hair since the fall season, my hair grew so much with the JBCO the hair become so soft and manageable. Going into my second year I will learn more styles, continue to deep condition weekly.

6/6/2014 Fully Natural

On 6/6/2014 I cut off the last of my ends of my perm hair. I felt so free when I did it, my curls were so pretty. I was glad not to hsve to deal with two textures anymore. I tried so many products Carol's Daughter, Cantu products, V05 shampoo and conditioner. I tried the Curlkit, where you receive samples of various hair care products. The comb I used to wrap my hair I now use to detangle my hair. I have two textures curly and wavy the left side of my hair is soft and the right side is rough. I always color my hair a reddish brown, my hair is shoulder length.

In the Spring of 2012 I decided that I didn't want a perm again. So I started going natural it was new to me I had to learn how to wash and style my hair with two textues
